How do I project a dwg file with unknown coordinate system
Solved! Go to Solution.
It might be easier to spatially adjust the dwg with a known feature class or aerial photo: About spatial adjustment—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop .
First, you have to identify the unknown coordinate system and only then can you project it

For future reference, the "GeoNet Help" space is for help with GeoNet itself, not general help from GeoNet users. If you explore the https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-1544-geonet-community-structure?sr=search&searchId=b75988ae-dd52..., posting to a more relevant space or place usually leads to more responses.
Sorry - Will find another source of information.
