How do I disable the ' You are changing the subtype for this feature.' pop-up window?

ArcMap (ArcGIS 10) has a window that pops-up whenever the default subtype is changed for a feature that asks me if I want to change it.

How do I disable it?

You can toggle this behavior with the advanced arcmap settings utility.
Run this from the \ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Utilities directory and select the editor tab in the dialog.
Toggle the 'warn on subtype change' checkbox as required.
