I am writing a small report critically discussing height differences occurring when using GPS, google maps and online calculators. The report doesn't allow me to discuss every point in great depth. What would you regard as the most significant points? I am already explaining the basic differences between height measured by GPS, orthometric height and Geoid height from the ellipsoid.
Once I have explained these are am going to propose what I believe is best approach when trying to identify targets on the ground.
