Hi,
Help!
I tried to find an answer to this question but I didn't seem to find what I was looking for. I have a layer with more than 5000 polygons . I would like to know which polygons overlap each other for all 5000 and get the output table like this,
Polygon  Overlap
    1                      2, 3,
    ...
    5000                1, 6, 8

Is this possible? How can I do this?

Thanks.

If you have an Advanced license, Tabulate Intersection will tell you everything you need to know and more.

Thanks bixb0012

I am using ArcGIS for Desktop 10.3 standard version, the Tabulate Intersect tool seems to be very useful, the challenge is because i don't have the Advanced licence .

Take a look at the Find Overlapping Features tool

Thanks Ken Buja

I have download and install it and it is listed in the addin manager. If I go to customize and choose commands I can follow the path of Biogeography Tools and I can see the tool there. From there I have not been able to figure out how to actually use it.

From there you drag the command to an existing toolbar. Once you exit the Customize dialog, the tool is available.
