I am asking anyone out there that might suggest me how or find a way to do this. OK, I scanned a list of soil database and save the file to .png or any other image file and I need to extract the text from scanned file and put them to MS Excel. But the problem is that when you use "OCR from Image to Text" and it is all garble and leaves out a lot of space.  If you look at the list and I want to extract the exactly list and put it to MS Excel. I am aware that you can use the "Copy the text from picture" or use "Alt text" in Microsoft OneNote, But it is not always 100 percent perfect.

Is there a way around to make them straightforward without having to fix it like garble?

There are literally hundreds of OCR programs out there. They vary vastly from free to quite costly.

I suggest you use google to try the different options.
