We migrated a customer to ArcSDE 10.1 and recreated the Geometric Network.

When finished we went into a session and when we try to display the flow arrows we get this message.  The Vector GIS... is one of our feature classes in the network

Underlying DBMS error [Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0: Cannot call methods on int.] [Vector.GIS.PriUGElectricLineSegment]

Thanks for any assistance you give.

With the "Cannot call methods on int" error, your customer could be running into a known NIM with 10.1.

NIM082866 - An error of "layer fail to draw" appears in 10.1 when selecting both "set flow direction" and "display arrows" in a geometric network.

The NIM082866 is not on the list of 10.1 sp1 fixes. (source:http://downloads.esri.com/support/downloads/other_/189810.1_SP1_Announcement.pdf)
For the utility world running geometric networks, this is unacceptable.  How do we request a reevaluation for inclusion into 10.1 sp1 or a patch to fix this?

I've seen this issue as well with 10.1.

We're aware of this issue and plan to address it in 10.1 SP2.  If you haven't already, contact Technical Support and have your account associated with the bug so that you can properly track it.

We are seeing this same error message, but running SDE 9.3.1 and using 10.1 SP1 client.  The error does not appear in 10.0 client or 9.3.1 client.  So that begs the question, is this an SDE issue or a desktop issue?

This is a Desktop/Client issue.
