After i was done adding a a new polygon to a shapefile dataset ArcMap 10.2, did not save the edits and was not responing, the program crashed and i had to restart ArcMap. When I tried opening the same shapefile, i got an error "There was a problem drawing the shapefile." all of the records were there but ArcMap was not displaying some of the polygons in the dataset. The only way around it was copying all of the drawings and creating a new shapefile.
Is there any way to fix corrupt files that did not display drawings.
