Hello,

What table

Does a query layer of a versioned enterprise geodatabase in ArcGIS Pro query the base table or the version specified in the database source configuration?

Since query layers are used in Esri software, I am hoping that they honor the version, but the results of my query layer show otherwise.

Thanks,

Adam

I am not sure 100%, but would lean towards it just queries the base table. This is based on it "directly" connecting to the database or cloud datastore and reading the information directly.

The closest doc stating something close is this:

Query layers that access geodatabase system tables are not supported.

Thanks George. That is what I suspected. It would be nice if the language in those articles could be straight forward to this point.
