Hello and thank you for any insights you have on this.
I am using ArcGIS 10 (installed with service pack 1).
In ArcMap I created layer packages (lpk) for 4 different polygon feature class layers. The first time I dragged/dropped them into a blank ArcMap document they all opened just fine. The next time I tried to drag/drop them into an ArcMap document only 1 of them opened (the smallest one, 631kb). The 3 that will not open are over 2000kb each. Is size a factor? Why do they open the first time after they are created but not sequential times?
The error message that I get is "Could not open the specified file".
