Circle tool - how to get a radius?

Does anyone know why, when Editing and trying to draw a circle with a radius (v10), the right-click shortcut to enter XY coords or a radius is 'greyed' out? I can't select it to set a radius for my circle!

Do you happen to be using an ArcView license? Does the top of the window say ArcMap - ArcView? If so, there is a bug (NIM062020) that is causing the context menu for the Rectangle, Circle, and Ellipse tools to be disabled. As a workaround, you can press the R key to set a radius.
