So I just upgraded to ArcGIS 10 a little over a month ago and keep having the same problem and I was wondering if anyone had a solution to it. When I use the Intersection Tool that is in the Advanced Editing toolbar to split two lines that intersect it will sometimes delete one of the line sections. Sometimes it will delete the longer line segment sometimes it will delete the shorter one. I never had a problem with this when I was working in 9.3. The layer I am editing is in a ArcSDE database.
