I am using a 9.2 SDE SQL database regularly...in the past I could rename and delete feature classes from my feature dataset with no trouble. I have had a need to delete the contents of the SDE GDB and replace with data from a personal SDE-- and I could do this no problem in the past. I use ArcCatalog and not SQL management studio and have not changed anything on the SWL side.
Right now, its critical that I replace a feature class in the SDE with a feature class that is in a personal GDB. I was able to do this all the time and now I cannot rename/delete some of my SDE data. Strange thing is, I copied my SDE data into a new personal GDB, and I cannot rename or delete the feature classes in the personal GDB either. What happened to my data? There are no other users accessing my SDE GDB so I am not sure what else would be the problem....help!

Hi,

Did you happen to switch your Desktop license to ArcView?  Are you getting any particular error message?
