Using ArcMap 10.1, basemaps load just fine, until I add any data of my own to the data frame. I can add and view data in a separate data frame, but the addition of any layers to the data frame containing the basemap results in the basemap not loading. This issue occurs using many different basemaps. I've also verified projections of my data are the same as the data frame and base map, yet the issue persists. It also occurs whether adding a basemap or adding basemap data from ArcGIS online. Looking for solutions?
