I recently stumbled upon an ArcGIS feature guide on a tool that would separate a network of lines at its vertices and then count the number of lines automatically. I lost the guide and I can't seem to find it. There was a very distinct image as part of the tutorial that I've tried to recreate here:
Does anyone know what tool this is? I'm trying to obtain the total number of street segments separated by intersections in a census tract. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi,
The Split Line at Vertices tool might be what you're looking for:
Split Line At Vertices (Data Management)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
After running this, then you can check the attribute table and it will show you how many records there are.
