I am in ArcCatalog and I am right clicking on my geodatabase to add a new feature class. When I click on New Feature class the box appears I name it and use the Type drop down arrow to select Annotation Features. But the box to check link the annotation is grayed out. Why??
ArcGIS 10.0, Service Pack 5, Not sure on the license cause I work for the state but I have ArcInfo. I got the annotation to form with the annotation feaures in ArcCatalog. So that is set. But now when I'm in my mxd and do the convert to labels, when I go to check the feature linked box it won't check. It's not grayed out just won't check. Append will check but that's it.
