Is anyone else having problems with the 10.1 locators?  I create a new locator using US Streets Dual ranges style against my centerline source data that has no city state and zip fields (which the help documents say are optional) and nothing geocoded from a table with a single field (123 N Main St) matches.  If I add city state and zip fields to my source data and concatenate the city state and zip to the geocoded table I get things to match.  In the locator I build without city state and zip fields the address inspector would work, but geocoding from a table wouldn't.  Do I have to have those city state and zip fields to get a 10.1 locator to work?

You have 10.1 so you can open the locator properties dialog for the locator that you created and change the property "Match with no zones" to "Yes". This will allow the locator to match to addresses that don't have zones.  This is set to "No" by default for performance reasons.
