Understanding Community Roles and Permissions

Is the role that is assigned to a user's rank also visible somewhere under "MyProfile"?

Hi
you can modify the text of your message before submitting it, after
submission the message cannot be corrected.
Best regards
I'm sorry, I didn't understand the issue well. I also had problems editing,
but now the issue is resolved when the subscription update is done🙂

How do i become a community moderator in Esri Community?

Thanks for expressing interest, @Fyonter12. We do appreciate your eagerness to help! The Community Manager role isn't one that we currently offer. It's true that we have listed it in the past; however, it was strictly made available to Esri team members in unique and uncommon circumstances. As a result, it has been removed from this document to prevent confusion. Know that we do make it possible for all members to assist with certain aspects of moderation via the Report Post as Inappropriate feature which you can learn more about, here. By helping our team identify spam and other content that doesn't adhere to our Esri Community Guidelines, you aid in keeping this platform topical, helpful, and useful to everyone. Thanks again!

Hi, Jesse
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my interest in
accepting the Community Moderator role within our community. My primary
motivation is to contribute my technical expertise and assist in resolving
technical issues that members of our community may encounter.
I believe that effective technical support is crucial for fostering a
positive and collaborative online environment. With my background and
skills, I am confident in my ability to provide valuable assistance by
answering questions, offering solutions, and directing users to the
relevant resources.
I understand the responsibilities associated with the Community Moderator
role and am committed to working collaboratively with the community team to
ensure a smooth and helpful experience for all members. I am particularly
excited about the opportunity to contribute to technical discussions and
help users navigate and overcome any challenges they may face.
I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this further and to contribute
actively to our community's success. Thank you for considering my
application.
Best regards

@imanebenromdhane, thank you for your interest in the additional responsibilities and desire to help; however, the Community Moderator role isn't one that we currently offer. It's true that we had previously listed such a role in this Help Documentation, but we have now removed it to prevent additional confusion. It is a role we had used in the past and reserved specifically for Esri's own staff members in a unique and uncommon set of circumstances. As far as non-Esri members goes, all members can aid in some limited moderation by helping report inappropriate posts when they are identified (you can find instructions here). Again, the thought is appreciated.

Good morning
Okay it doesn't matter no problem
