Cancelling edit to comment in idea brings me to a different idea (unexpected)

Scenario:

  1. Go to an Esri community idea. We'll call it idea A.
  2. Go to my notifications, navigate to a different idea that I'm following (idea B).
  3. In an existing comment of mine, I make an edit.
  4. I change my mind and cancel the edit.
  5. Problem: The page doesn't navigate back to idea B. Instead, it navigates back to idea A. That's pretty confusing when it happens. Sometimes, I want to do something else in idea B, such as make a new comment. But I don't always realize that I'm actually looking at a different idea.

Could that issue be investigated?

Safari/iPad

Thanks.

Just a heads up: I'm still seeing this issue.

This issue continues to trip me up. When cancelling an edit to a post, I expect the browser to go back to that same post. Instead, it goes to a different post that I had navigated to previously.

Hi @Bud, I've just tested this a couple of different ways—both by going back to an idea post via the notification icon at the top navigation bar of the screen (the bell icon) and via the dialogue box that pops up in the lower right-hand corner of the screen at the time of a new notification. In both cases, cancelling edits to either my test idea post or my comment on a test idea resulted in going to the test idea (expected behavior). When you have an opportunity, could you do a screen recording of your experience for us? I'm noting that your initial post shows that you were using an iPad with Safari. Is that still the case? Tagging @SimiBasu for visibility.
