I'm looking for an inexpensive way to better track my land use cases. Esri has some templates for zoning and land use but there are overly simple. I want to be able to have a nice interface that I can enter my land use case information into GIS. Right now I have mostly paper files with some of the information electronically in the form of PDFs etc. I'd like to be able to enter everything I need in a case. Sure I could just add all the fields I could ever want into a feature class but entering the information into something like that would be cumbersome. Does somebody know of a good template that would work for this? Could be either ArcMap based or web based. I don't care which. I've seen nice end user sites that other cities have but I'm guessing that comes from expensive software solutions.
