Hello
I recently downloaded the Urban Network Analysis (UNA) toolbox to perform a betweenness calculation for some neighborhoods.
When running the tool I get the following errors:
"ERROR 000864: Input raster: The input is not within the defined domain.
ERROR 000367: Invalid GP data type
Failed to execute (Raster to Polygon)"
I find these error really weird because my input is not a raster, rather it is a network dataset that I created in the ArcCatalog.
Has anyone come across these issues?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Tks
link to the tool?
is a network dataset required or some other format?
perhaps it uses raster in the background, hence the error
Thanks for your quick answer Dan.
1.Here's the link to the tool:
Urban Network Analysis Toolbox for ArcGIS — City Form Lab
2.In order to run, the Centrality tool requires a polygon or point file and a network dataset (see image below):
I found a comment in the Urban Network Analysis Group Forum where someone faced the same issue.
And later said he solved the problem by flattening the network from 3D to planar (already sent him a message, but no answer so far
When I created the network dataset, I did not specify any Z values for elevations, but still, I'm not sure if I should change the settings anyway.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
From the link.... they appear to have their own forum... did you give it a try?
Yes I did. I even posted the same question there, but no luck so far.
Anyways, I managed to solve this issue. Apparently, when creating the network dataset you must choose NO in all the steps (no turns, directions, etc).
That allowed me to use the tool.
Thank you anyway for answering.
