I work for local government (county) and I'm looking for a web service that I can consume that shows real estate properties that are currently listed for sale.
I am aware of the "MLS", but from what I've read it does not appear to be a very 'open' resource and requires some complex levels of vetting/licensing as a real estate broker to gain access. Is there something I'm missing?
I know that I have seen some local government served web maps that integrate a 'layer' showing listed real estate properties, but I'm not sure what their data source was.
Is there someone in the real estate industry that has a lead on a data service, or open API that can be leveraged in ArcGIS?
