We are attempting to move features from AGOL onto our own Portal system. This includes two story maps that are currently being used on AGOL.
Here is the issue. The data has been exported from AGOL to a GDB. The GDB has been uploaded to our SDE and a new service has been created using this feature. This feature is shared to Everyone. A new map is created using the Feature, and the new map is shared to everyone.

I'm able to add the feature service on your Portal to a web map in ArcGIS Online:
and then generate a Map Tour from it, but like you say, Map Tour uses the images hosted in ArcGIS Online rather than the ones stored as attachments in your feature service. I think this is because the two image fields in your feature service are given precedence over your attachments by Map Tour, and those fields are pointing at ArcGIS Online. You could try publishing that service without the two URL fields and see if Map Tour uses the attachments instead.
If you only have two Map Tours to move, you could also just rebuild them from scratch by uploading the images again into fresh tours. It may be easier in the long run but see if the thing above works.

Rupert,
Thanks for the reply. It seems counterproductive to have to create a new story map when the data is already present. We do not need to do this with any other web app, just the Story Map. The data that I have already has both the thumbnail and full size of the jpgs.
I can understand the confusion, but as you stated the Story Map images are pointing to the AGOL site. There is no option in creating a story map to point to AGOL. It points to online storage sites and not an ESRI product. I will look into removing the two fields and let you know if this works.
Story Map was one of the original web apps that was developed, it might be time for an update to the old system.
