The lower right corner of the display gives GPS coordinates of the cursor in Degrees-Minutes-Seconds.  Is there a way to change this to decimal degrees?  If so then I can't find it.

Thanks for your help.

Me three.  Nobody -- I know -- uses degrees minutes seconds anymore.

This must be a bug.  I can change the display units to decimal degrees in arcmap, but once the map is published it displays as deg, min, sec.  The ArcReader data frame properties even show the Units as Decimal Degrees, but it displays deg, min, sec.

Can anyone at ESRI look into this??

I realize this question was posted a while ago, but just in case, here is one answer: the coordinate system in the mxd to be published needs to be in a Geographic Coordinate System, such as GCS_North_American_1983. Then ArcReader will show decimal degrees. Cheers
