blank map

I'm new to ArcReader. I've been supplied with a pmf to view, plus data of course. But when I open the pmf the map is completely blank even though some of the data items are selected for viewing.  It's as if there is no basemap available. Any clues anyone please?

What version of ArcReader are you using?

What format is the data in?  Are you sure the data is supplied at the same version as ArcReader?

Pmf files created using ArcMap v10.1 or v10.2 cannot be used in ArcReader v10.0.

Thanks for the reply. The pmf dates from 2007, and I am using ArcReader 10.2 that I have recently downloaded.

That pmf file was created in an older version of ArcReader, so I would think you would need to get an older version of ArcReader in order to view the data.

That did cross my mind, but then I was hoping for enough backwards compatability.  Looks like 9.2 was valid in 2007?
