I need to supply an ArcReader 10.1 pmf but don't want the data package to be copied/reproduced (i.e. locked).
What does "locked" mean in reference to the "Compressed and Locked File Geodatabase" data format when creating a data package for use in ArcReader? The resulting pmf works beautifully, but the associated data package appears to not be locked (i.e. the layers can be opened and exported in other ESRI products). Help documentation implies that the data package can only be opened in ArcReader.
Most layers are originally sourced from two File Geodatabases (all simple features), two are sourced from shapefiles.
Is there any comprehensive information for the requirements of this data package setting?
