Using ArcPad with Camera Function

Hi there,

I am running ArcPad 7 on a MobileDemand T7000 and I would like to tag photos to a specific location using GPS. When I try to access the camera through ArcPad there is a window called "AVICamera" that pops up and it says "Unable to connect to driver".

Does anyone know if there is a resolution to this issue or if I am doing something wrong?

Hi,

In your ArcPadPrefs.apx file, see if the <CAMERA device="@WMC" is referring to either

@WMC (Windows Mobile Camera), or @HPC (HP Camera). These are the different modules that you can use as camera drivers and the DLLs are stored on the device under \Program Files\ArcPad\Modules.
