GPS Position Window - Skyplot tab

What is the meaning of the asterisk that appears on the signal strength bars in the Skyplot tab of the GPS Position Window (ArcPad 8/10)?
When the user has set the receiver to utilize WAAS differential corrections - do the asterisks indicate which satellite bars are being corrected? There is no explanation for this in the reference or user guide, web or desktop.

The stars you see on the bars in the skyplot indicate the satellites are being used to calculate your position, no star means that the satellites are available but are not being used for calculations.
