Hi,

I'm new to the world of using GPS and have just started using a Trimble GeoXT 6000 series.  It's running Arcpad 10, GPS Controller and I have NMEA enabled.

The GPS registers okay in Arcpad and I can record GPS points, however the Skyplot tab in the GPS details is always empty.  Really more of an annoyance than anything else, but I'd like to have a faster way of checking the accuracy and satellite info rather than exiting ArcPad and going to GPS Controller.

I have only seen one post related to this error, and not solution has worked (ArcPad 10 Skyplot ).

Anyone have ideas on what to do to get the Skyplot info to show up in Arcpad?

Thanks,
Natasha

Solved my own question.... was looking for an answer to something else ArcPad related and found this support article.  Turns out the $GPGSV and $GPGSA options were not selected in GPS Controller. Once activated the Skyplot feature worked! Yay.
