My workplace uses Trimble Juno SB handheld for windshield survey. I found that the date correctly shown in Trimble unit was altered when we transferred data to desktop. For example, it shows 06/06/2012 on Trimble unit screen but once completely transferred to desktop it displays 11/30/2006. Do you have any idea why it happened as such? Also, I used Microsoft's Active Sync to transfer the data. In the ArcPad folder, I copy 6 main files (.shx,.shp,.prj,.apl,.dbf) and pasted in the folder I am working. After that I opened it in ArcGIS. As I mentioned earlier, the date displayed on the unit' screen while recording the data is perfectly correct. But the date was altered when showing in ArcGIS.

If I did something wrong or missed some steps, please provide me the proper instruction.

Thank you,
JS
