Hi,

I have been working on an automated system for processing gps points and have created an attribute table design and model to process it into the required final format.  Testing the shapefile with arcpad on a trimble today however, I found that arcPad would not let me finish creating a point feature without filling in all the fields.  This is a problem because the automated system relies on null or "space" values in order to work.  Is there some setting that would allow arcPad to create point features with partially filled out attribute tables?

ArcPad cannot commit an edit to a shapefile with null values because null values are not supported in shapefiles.
