I'm incredibly new to ArcMap (10.8) and I am trying to perform an analysis of data points with total counts, density of those counts, and correlating them to raster layers such as tree canopy cover. What kind of spatial analyst tools should I look into using for this sort of analysis (kernel density, interpolation, and/or others)?

Hi @AndreaOtalora

The analysis depends on the exact data you have and what you're after. Have a look at this page to start investigating what's the right tool for you:

If your total counts are within polygons, use the spatial join tool to match between the two. If you need to extract the point values from raster, you might want to use the Zonal Statistics tool.
