Error Loading Package Conents

Hello,

I am new to ArcGIS. I have ArcGIS 10.6 installed on my machine. I am trying to load a default basemap but receive an Error: "Error reading package contents."

I think it may have something to do with the file pathways? I have connectivity to ArcGIS online. Does anyone know how to fix this error?

When you say you are trying to load a default basemap, are you referring to the ArcGIS Online basemaps?

Hi Shan,

I am able to load ArcGIS Online Basemaps using the Add Data From ArcGIS Online... feature. I cannot load basemaps using the Add Basemap... feature.
