Workflow Manager to track administrator activities?

Hi everyone,

Our organisation is looking at using Workflow Manager (Classic) for tracking editor activities. It's amazing that Workflow Manager can record every action performed by workflow users within the jobs assigned. However, our organisation has this policy that all privileged activities must also be logged/tracked (meaning, anything done by the administrator to configure/ the workflow, add/remove user, add/remove group privileges).

From what we have read so far, there isn't an out-of-the-box function in Workflow Manager (Classic) that can achieve this. We have also tried to enable Editor Tracking in the workflow database, but it seems that the application is writing into some of the system fields e.g. creation_date, creation_user, so after enabling Editor Tracking, the application prompts errors. We had to disable it afterwards.

May I know if anybody has managed to achieve tracking of privileged activities on workflow manager before? and if so, how did you do it - are we able to build some customisation by ourselves on the application?

Thanks in advance!
