In the Workflow Manager Administrator, what is the difference between User Properties and Properties on the database connection?

1.  What are the consequences of having different account information in the User Properties and Properties?

Hi Mike,

The user settings displayed in the Workflow Manager Connection Properties are associated with the enterprise geodatabase you used to configure the Workflow Manager repository. That database can typically be connected to using operating system authentication (company network logins) or directly using a database login.

The users defined in the user properties are completely independant of your operating system or the database you are connecting to. These are users defined specifically for use with Workflow Manager. Who is added and what privileges (within Workflow Manager) they have is completely up to the Workflow Manager Administrator(s) in your group. These users do not interact with the users in the Workflow Manager connection.

There should be no consequences of having different account information between the two.
