Hi

I have login issues with my Workflow manager.  I have different login usernames and passwords for my workflow manager and arcgis online account.  When I tried to login my WF javascript viewer with Workflow Manager login (created in Workflow Manager Administrator) it said "wmindex wants to access your ArcGIS Online account information" and did not take me to the wmviewer page.  I do not use any services from arcgis online.  Any ideas how to solve this issue ?

Hi Helen,

Please answer the following questions so we can better help you.

- What version of Workflow Manager Server / JavaScript viewer are you using?

- Is your Workflow Manager Server secured behind ArcGIS Portal or ArcGIS Server via tokens?

- Are you sharing your Workflow Manager Server as an ArcGIS Online service?

- How have you configured security for the Workflow Manager Javascript viewer (windows, token, portal)?

If you could share your AppConfig.js file, we can help debug the issue.

I use 10.4, and yes my WM server secured behine ArcGIS Portal.

Hi Helen,

If you have Workflow Manager Server secured behind ArcGIS Portal, you will need to configure your JavaScript viewer to use portal authentication.  There is a "Set up security using ArcGIS Portal Authentication" section in the JavaScript viewer README.pdf file that should help you with setup.

Hi Helen,

Assuming you've setup your Workflow Manager viewer as a registered Portal app, I don't see why you would get prompted to enter your ArcGIS Online account. You can refer to Set up security using ArcGIS Portal Authentication to help troubleshoot your issue.

If you're still unable to resolve the issue, open a ticket with tech support and let them know to send the case to the Workflow Manager team
