I am creating some web maps for specific editing tasks to be done in ArcGIS Web Editor. The user just needs to select a point, update a couple fields, and optionally add record a repair in a related table. There are a couple additional layers in the map that are not editable, but are useful for the user to have as reference.
It would be nice if I could configure the map, so that by default the editable layer was selectable and the others were not. This would simplify the editing experience for the end user and reinforce the workflow that I am trying to implement.

As Web Editor is becoming more used across my organization, I find myself repeatedly having to explain to staff to set the selectable layers. It's exhausting to repeat this instruction and would be so much easier if it can be pre-configured in the map settings.
I also suggested in another post that it would be nice if the selectable layers could be pre-set via url parameters: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-web-editor-blog/unpacking-url-parameters-in-arcgis-web-editor/b...
