Screening Widget - Can't remove one selector

I have configured the screening tool to allow for rectangle or polygon-based selection, but there is a third option that I do not want. It freezes up when there are a lot of records, and is not necessary. It is circled below. Is there any way to turn this off? I've looked and haven't found one.
