Plateau Theme Mobile Format Map Draws Under Widget Panel

I am dealing with an issue where on load the map loads under the panel in the mobile view. rotating the phone or closing and opening the widget resizes the map and everything pops back into place. I am looking for a way to force the resize after the application fully loads but cannot seem to find anything.
