Map Viewer Beta Group Layers in Web AppBuilder?

I see the new beta map viewer has the ability to group layers to turn on/off multiple layers with one click.  It feels like I have been waiting 7 years for this.  But if you make a group in the beta viewer map, then make a WAB app from it, the groups don't show up.  How long until these groups in the Beta viewer are supported in WAB?

I would like to know this, as well.  The standard layer list widget doesn't appear to support the groups.
