Labeling not shown when editing in a Web AppBuilder application

Hi there. I just wanted to see if anybody else is experiencing a bug with labeling not being shown when editing in a Web AppBuilder application?

This appears to be the behaviour for new applications I create as well as existing application previously created which did not exhibit this behaviour.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as this change has made some of our existing application unusable.

Just in case it is of interest, I have contact my local ESRI support and they have indicated that this has been logged as a bug:

BUG-000093274: Labels disappear when editing is activated in Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS.
