Hi,

After the last AGOL update a field "Result layer name" was added to the Query widget for the users. Now many users have said to me that they do not like and do not need the field, so they do not want to see that field. Could this be considered to make an optional field? In the widget's settings you just could make it visible or remove it if needed.

Liina,

You will need to contact esri tech support to request and enhancement for the widget or Add a new Idea to the ArcGIS Ideas‌ Space for this.

Thank you for your feedback. Please do what Robert suggested above. We will take it into account.

Any news about this?

The worst about this is that in the Task tab the text is shown as written in the widget's configuration page, i.e. without applying html tags.

So if I set a Query title like this:

<ins><strong>Task</strong></ins>

It is shown like:

Result layer name

<ins><strong>Task</strong></ins> _Query result

When it should look like:

Result layer name

Task _Query result

Aleydis, an option has bee added so you can control if end users can provide a different name for the resultant layer. This option will be available on AGOL March update next week.
