Hello everyone,

I am using Web Application Builder  and looking for a way using the Smart Editor Widget or the Edit Widget to digitize  lines and points directly in SDE.

Is there a way to synchronize a Feature Layer hosted with a FC in SDE.

Thanks

Enterprise Portal WAB and SDE FC?

Just publish the data as a feature service 'Feature Access' to the portal, reference the service URL in the smart editor widget, any edits will go straight into the SDE.

Thanks David,

I am also doing that, from Enterprise Portal WAB, I created a Feature Layer using "Add Item --> From the Web", and I am testing it.  Also I enabled Editor tracking in ArcCatalog, and when I digitize  a record I get the value "Esri_Anonimous"  in the fields Created_user and Last_Editor_User.

Any recommendation to get the User ID of the editor in these fields?

Thanks

That's a strange one, you are signed in as a user etc.?

Why are you adding it as a feature layer that way rather than publishing it as a feature layer?

I would definitely recommend republishing the service after making changes such as enable edit tracking etc.

It requires a secured feature service ir order to save the editor's user id.
