When a user tries to click a line or point feature class nothing happens. Apparently the drawn symbol is offset if you look at the map below. Why is this happening and is it possible to fix it?

Hi Jordan, this could be related to a bug that a patch was released for version 10.6.1.

  • BUG-000115859 - When selecting line or polygon features for layers with pop-ups enabled, the selection symbology does not match the actual feature geometry.

Here's a link to this patch for 10.6.1: Esri Support Portal for ArcGIS 10.6 (10.6.1)

Is this in ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS or are you using Web App Builder for Developers?

Hey Victoria,

We're using the Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (not the dev edition) with Portal for ArcGIS v10.6.

I'm curious - we're seeing pretty much the exact same behavior, but in Portal 10.7.1 with WAB dev edition, v. 2.9.

Essentially when we click on a point that has multiple features present, and toggle through the pop-ups - the selection to reflect which pop-up is active is offset from the actual feature - point, line or polygon, doesn't matter - all show this behavior.

Have there been any other reports of this happening in 10.7.1?

This doesn't happen in the WebMap that's used in the App.

Thanks -

Allen

Hi Allen,

I've seen some cases where this happens with some versions of web app builder. Could you try upgrading web app builder to at least 2.10?

Thanks Victoria -

I confirmed that at 2.14 the behavior is fixed - we'll make that works with the 3rd party application involved and get our environment upgraded.
