I am new to web mapping and web application dev. I am using WAB to create a web application. We have all layers hosted on our ArcGIS Server and i created a custom print service which i was able to set up with print widget in WAB. But whenever I try to print the resolution doesn't work sometimes the map is too small and sometimes it cuts off the parts i noticed ether are 2 options either preserving extent or scale. I am not bale to create a ready to print map with this service main issue is with the map resolution and extent. it is not intuitive for the user to choose between this things. Is there a way i can make it more straight forward for end user to print map.
Also when i use filter widget it does the filtering but once you close the widget the filtering is lost so if somebody just want to focus on one Area of interest and print that or analyze they can't do it. any solution for that?
