We ran into an issue where the thumbnail of the default basemap was reflecting the thumbnail of the service in the Web Application ( image attached).
We also created a support ticket and was told the following.
"After doing some testing I confirmed this is expected. Here are the steps to reproduce: -Change the thumbnail image of a service -Add that service to a Web App Builder Project -Add the Basemap Gallery Widget -Notice that whatever the default basemap is, its thumbnail image will reflect that of the referenced service."
Does anyone have a suggestion on doing something different or fixing the issue since I'm getting frustrated?
