hi

I have a problem deploying my webpage.
In fact, i am using ArcGIS viewer for silverlight. When i am trying to deploy my data, i see that a folder having the same name of my deployment is created in Apps folder.
If i double click on index.htm to open it, i see a blank page and no data are displayed. But if i open ArcGIS viewer-Builder and i try to edit it, it opens normally.
Any suggestions?

Amjad

Hi Amjad,

You might find our topic on Deploying" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapps/silverlightviewer/help/i... applications helpful. Note that the recommended way to access a published Viewer application is through your browser by inputting the full address (for example: http://<machinename>/Apps/ViewerApplication.)

Hi Katy

Thank you very much for your reply.. I want to tell you that when i try to deploy the application with the way that you suggest me (according to the arcgis help) i get an empty page (first attachment) while the browser ask me to install the silverlight. But the silverlight is already installed. Furthermore, i get a reply from flidder regarding with the Viewer.xap (2nd attachment). The viewer.xap is a file inside the app/folder.

I want to ask where this errors are attributed to? and if there is a problem inside the silverlight application which obstruct the deployment of the web page.

It might have to do with not having the correct MIME types set. Can you take a look through our System" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://help.arcgis.com/en/webapps/silverlightviewer/help/inde... Requirements document and make sure you have those set?

Also, the article Configuring" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/262/configuring-iis-for-s... IIS for Silverlight Applications might be helpful as it is specifically about setting MIME types.

Let us know if that works.
