Can't install Viewer for Silverlight due to ASP.NET Web Service Extension

I'm running Windows XP 64bit with SP2 and I am trying to install the Viewer for Silverlight and I am always getting stuck on the prerequisite screen. (image1 attached)

I followed the instructions online and restarted about 3 times. (image 2 and 3 attached) Does anyone know what I missed? I am getting pretty frustrated now..
