Query widget doesn't do anything

I am trying to use the Query widget in the Viewer.  It seems to work - when I start the viewer, the query runs and displays a set of records.  But when I click on a row, nothing happens.  Help?

Ah yes you should always leave the objectid and shape fields turned on. They are normally filtered out in the majority of widgets from being seen.
