Thanks to flex viewer 2.4 and Robert Scheitlin's enhanced search widget, it is now possible to pass a search element via the URL and have the map zoom down to the findings. However, in my case, I am using that functionality to locate parcels. It works great, except I don't have the parcel layer set to turn on once i zoom to a certain level. I realize that is an easy fix to this problem, but I would rather have the URL turn the layer on. So, in short:
Does anybody know of a way to turn layers on via a URL parameter?
