Sorry if this is not the exact place to get an answer, but I cannot find information on it anywhere and can't think of anywhere else to ask the question.

I'm working with the eSearch 3.4 widget and its working out great, except that I cannot take advantage of the usedomain command because my domains are not carrying over into my REST URL.  I have a duplicated web application hosted on Amazon in which I 'can' see the domains in the REST URL.  For some reason when I'm publishing a service inside of our firewall I cannot detect them.  I tried overwriting the service but to no avail.

Can someone please shed light on this for me or guide me toward documentation that would help me?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

Sounds like a server configuration issue. What version of ArcGIS Server and what service pack are we talking about?

ArcGIS Server 10.1, I just applied Service Pack 1 last week so we could integrate with a new CMMS software that we're implementing.  That didn't even cross my mind as being related to this issue... interesting!

I forgot to mention, that I DID have this functionality working prior to applying the Service Pack but I'm not realizing this until now.  The Amazon instance does not have the Service Pack applied which may explain why its working as it should.

Scott,

My first step would be to re-publish the service using the overwrite option and see if that helps.

Robert,

I tried two things, publishing to overwrite and publishing to a new service.  Neither method yielded results.  I'm going to poke around some more and submit an email to my regional user group forum.  I can't help but think this could be a bug since installing Service Pack 1.  I'll leave this ticket open a bit longer for now, but don't want to leave it open too long because its not as relevant to the Flex Viewer as it should be.

Thanks,
Scott

EDIT:  I have established that SP1 is also installed on the Amazon instance.  The Service Pack 1 must not be the issue.  If anyone has any feedback let me know!!

Maybe it was a bad install oin the SP1?... Try reinstalling SP1 and restarting the ArcGIS Server.
